From my research, I have learned how social media can be powerful in the advertising industry. Many entrepreneurs believe that social media marketing is the “next big thing”. Many believe that it is a temporary fad, but it is still very powerful.
Many people believe that social media appeared quickly, but it has still developed a reputation by becoming a passing marketing interest, and although it may be an unprofitable one, it is still very significant. Studies show that 92% of marketers claim that in 2014 that social media marketing is important for their business. This shows that “a huge potential for social media marketing to increase sales, but a lack of understanding on how to achieve those results.”
Some outlooks on how social media marketing can improve your business are increased brand recognition, improvement on brand loyalty, more opportunity to convert, higher conversion rates, higher brand authority, increase inbound traffic, decreased marketing costs, better search engine rankings, richer customer experience, and improved customer insight.
Social media is the driven factor towards a business revolution. Now a day, it is hard to imagine a life before social media, even though sites such as Facebook and Twitter have been around less than a decade. Throughout the decade, advertisers have realized how these sites are changing the way we do everything. As professionals, we use these sites has networks in order to interact with customers and bring team members together.
Social media has the ability to divide industries, and leave behind outdated companies. Many times, social media can be a distraction, keeping workers productivity to a minimum throughout the day, but it has also opened opportunity to advertisers that never existed in the past. It has become clear that social media has become essential to the advertising business.
All in all, the longer advertisers wait, the more they have to lose. When done right, social media marketing can lead to more customers, more traffic, and also more conversions.
